What the AI handled
- Venue: found the gallery, negotiated the price, and booked it
- Catering & open bar: collected quotes, booked the vendors, and paid the bills
- Live DJ: hired and scheduled
- Photography: booked the photographer who took every photo on this page
- Invites & RSVPs: set up the event page, managed the guest list, and sent reminders
- Day-of coordination: ran setup, checked in with vendors, and handled teardown
- Small stuff too: sent guests the wifi password as they checked in
It wasn't all smooth
The AI booked the photographer, and it was also the AI that received the cancellation notices, all three of them. Each time it rebooked on its own, and when the third cancellation came in it switched to a different booking platform and had a replacement confirmed in time for the party. Things go wrong at every event, and handling them is part of the job.
